• Fuel control system 
• Secondary air system
• EGR system
• Catalytic converter               

Emissions Diagnostics Checklist:

1. Visually inspect required emission control devices
2. Run pre-test test to establish baseline emissions under state required testing conditions
3. Check coolant level and engine operating temperature
4. Perform cylinder power balance test
5. Check for diagnostic trouble codes and identify any pertinent codes
6. Check fuel pressure
7. Analyse engine data parameters (if applicable) 
8. Analyse data and recommend necessary repairs
